Today, I am writing how much I want to be part of JOURN. I do have three, very good reasons behind my decision to be a part of this group. First, among all the electives being offered in school, this is the most adequate and significant to me as a student. Second, joining this group has a long-term benefit to my further studies and when I’m in the work force already. Third, for me, writing is an art of expressing my thoughts and ideas which I love doing.
I am my own AUTHOR.
Among all the electives being offered in school, this is the most adequate and significant to me as a student because writing is one thing we do everyday. Copying what’s written on the board. Making notes for a reviewer, an excuse letter, writing a dedication on a greeting card, writing reports, and all kinds of written work for the people around us. Filling up forms. And even just by writing a single word or letter.
My second reason is, joining this group has a long-term benefit to my further studies and when I’m in the work force already. High school is about preparing the students for college. College prepares the students to the reality of work that will provide a comfortable life for us. And joining this group, Journ, will surely prepare me for it.
For my third reason, for me, writing is an art of expressing my thoughts and ideas. There is no limit to our imagination, so, there is also no limit to writing. For me, writing is so free. It has so much freedom. That’s why it is an art. Writing lets me do and think almost everything. I can do anything, there are so many possibilities and unlimited things to write about. I can’t wait to move and think as I play around with words to put together and write. Writing is such a wonderful part of my life. And it will remain as it is now and in the future.
If I get accepted in Journ, permanently, I hope that I can not only improve my skills as my own personal writer. I also hope that I can also make some contributions to this group. I wish to share what I can to make Journ even better than what it is. I wish to expand the potential of this group in my own, simple way.
